Ramoso

Description

An old Italian variety of calabrese which can be grown for spring or autumn cropping.

Vigorous plants yield 3-4", blue-green heads. After cutting the main head, more side shoots develop, producing many more small to medium-sized heads through the summer.

Harvesting seed

Must be grown through the Winter to produce seeds.

Harvest seed pods before they start to split open. Hang up the flower stalks to dry and then break up over a container. Sieve to obtain the seeds.
