Description

Easy to grow, hardy winter vegetable producing heavy and long bearing crops of excellent flavour. There are early and late selections.

Produces many small purple flower sprouts. Turns green when cooked.

Harvesting seed

Must be grown through the Winter to produce seeds.

Harvest seed pods before they start to split open. Hang up the flower stalks to dry and then break up over a container. Sieve to obtain the seeds.
