Carefully cut the cauliflower when harvesting to leave 1 or 2 branches to flower and produce seeds. Mature seed pods become dry and turn brown as the seeds inside also mature and brown.
Either cut entire branches or the whole plant and place on a cloth or contrainer and thresh by hand rubbing the pods.
Store in a cool, dark, dry place in an airtight container.
